University of North Carolina, Greensboro Campus Tours Explodes

“While we were only asking for the ability to split apart tours, AdmissionPros came back with a full suite of functionality surrounding the tours. It was a success with over 120 tour guests that day.”

  • With more than 20,000 students and 2,700 faculty and staff, UNCG is the largest state university in the Piedmont Triad and has an annual economic impact of more than $1 billion. The campus has grown to include 30 residence halls and 30 academic buildings on 210 acres.
  • UNCG takes pride in being a learner-centered public research university.  At The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, you'll find challenging academic programs, hands-on learning experiences, and a supportive campus community.

The Problem

Having already incorporated AdmissionPros software into their admission process, UNCG was familiar with the capabilities of the system.  UNCG wanted to revamp their current campus tours offerings, and offer specialized tour groups.  The current system did not have the capability of splitting apart tours for different groups, as desired.

What We Did

We had a quick call with Jason and his team to learn more about what they were looking for.   Based on that conversation, we were able to modify their existing AdmissionPros Campus Tour Module. Within just a couple of days, we provided UNCG with a customized solution that allowed them to offer specialized tours to different groups.

The Outcome

By expanding our campus tours module, we were able to quickly provide UNCG with a solution that met their exact needs.   The amount of functionality we were able to add to the campus tours module gave them the ability to exceed their initial expectations and  offer a more customized experience to tour participants of every type.
